The Paste’s house pasta factory offers gastronomic specialities typical of the Daunia mountains, such as pizzelle, laganelle and tacconetti, obtained from a careful selection of raw materials and accurate manufacturing and packaging processes. In the activity of the pasta factory, the ancient peasant tradition is respected which foreseen genuine and simple dishes or the use of vincotto, biscuits with figs, walnuts, pupatelli and calzone with chestnuts during the Christmas period or mash for the period Easter. In general, both the pasta and the desserts are typical of the local tradition and obtained according to traditional recipes and using genuine ingredients and at 0 km and maintain a perfect balance between original flavours and quality of the ingredients also respecting the Mediterranean diet. Types of pasta such as orecchiette and fusilli are traditionally associated with mixed meat sauce such as pork, lamb and veal, cavatelli are associated with broccoli and other types of local vegetables while pizzelle are typical with celery and tomato.
