Leonardo Da Vinci Museum – The Machines

Museum

The museum is run by the association CreattivAmens and is located inside the Marchesale Palace. Since 2009, the aforementioned association organizes an exhibition called “Leonardo Da Vinci in the city of the Galateo”, curated by Giuseppe Manisco. Being fond of Leonardo’s genius, Manisco rebuilt around 70 of the uncountable Da Vinci’s works. The exhibition offers a unique trip among war, architectural and technological machines, such as hygroscopes, bridges, anemometers, and compasses. A still working multiple-barrel catapult is also displayed, along with reproductions of the most famous paintings and drawings by Leonardo da Vinci.
