Cento scalini or Tufare beach
The beach of Cento scalini (One hundred steps) a strip of sand watched by a high rock is also called «spiaggia delle Tufare» and is the perfect place for those who are looking for the services offered by beach resorts without giving up the quiet. The strand located between Rodi Garganico and Peschici and the final part of San Menaio can be easily reached walking along Gargano shore-line thanks to a path made of one hundred steps which gives the name to the area. Those who love nature can enjoy not only the green water which slopes to the dark blue but also the nearby Marzini pine grove a shrine which keeps charming views embellished by the scents of the Mediterranean scrub and which during summer offers bathers the possibility to protect from the sun during the warmest hours of the day.
